About Bacchanalia Literary Magazine

Based in San Diego, California, but reaching fellow writers, artists, and maenads worldwide, Bacchanalia Literary Magazine is a non-profit digital literary magazine that publishes poetry, flash fiction, and visual arts drenched in the untamed, transcendent, and merry celebration of honest artistic expression. We value the unusual, whimsical, and raw expressions of emotion, experiences, and imagination.

As an LGBTQ+ and POC ran organization, we welcome and strongly encourage submissions from underrepresented individuals. Inspired by the culture of Bacchus and the luscious festivals of literature and drama held in his honor, Bacchanalia Literary Magazine strives to be akin to a digital festival of creative exploration and experimentation. All bodies, spirits, and minds are received here to delve into the complexities of our artistic psyche.
